The weather over the weekend made for great drying, and it seems that we can expect even more conditions along those lines over the coming days.
Met Éireann were presumably thrilled to give out some rare good news today after a cold, dreary winter, as they stated that the good weather that the country is currently experiencing is set to last until Thursday.
Temperatures will hit highs of 17°C or 18°C in parts, with the week cooling gradually as it goes on, droping to 16°C on Thursday. A spokesperson for Met Éireann told The Irish Mirror that these conditions "would be warmer than normal for the beginning of April, certainly warmer weather than we'd normally get".
It wasn't all good news however, as more familiar weather looks set to return in time for next weekend, so don't throw away the umbrellas just yet: "over the weekend there will be rain at times and it is expected to become windy with southerly breezes increasing fresh to strong at times". Sure you can't beat a good strong breeze...
