For those of you who've seen pictures of James Blunt's heavily bandaged right hand, he didn't receive the injury from rigorously, eh, writing his material a la Damien Rice (could I be more subtle?), although it was garnered in the line of duty. According to Digital Spy, he told British newspaper The Independent at an event: "Sorry I can't shake your hand, I broke my little finger. I somehow managed to do it whilst I was jumping off stage during a gig in America." Now, if he could arrange to land on his larynx next time, that'd be perfection.
