Why is it that we have such difficulty with re-creating our idols in art?
This year already we've had that disastrous Cristiano Roanldo bust in Madeira Airport and then more recently there was the Terry Wogan bust in Limerick.
Yesterday we reported that a wax figure of Beyonce had been revealed in Madame Tussauds in Manhattan and it (perhaps deservedly) was savaged by fans.

Well it seems that the decision makers over at Madame Tussauds have taken the criticism on board as the wax figure has since been removed from the Manhattan location. According to The New York Times, staff at the venue did not offer a reason for the figure being pulled but merely said that it would be "off the floor until further notice."
See where protesting can get you Beyoncé fans? Now if we can only do something about the version in Berlin's Madame Tussauds...
