In what has been described as a repugnant move, rugby union player Ben Foden has announced his divorce from wife and Saturdays band member Una Healy on the dating app Bumble.
Healy had broken up with Foden last month after she found out he had had an affair with PR girl Becky Milne.
Ben has now announced that he is back on the market by joining Bumble, an app which allows women to make the first move, after which men have only 24 hours to reply.
Foden used his bio to announce he’s “getting divorced.” He also said he’s looking for a woman who isn’t “uptight or bossy.”
According to The Sun, the bio reads: “Heading Stateside in December. Never believe in making plans, let’s just see what happens and how things go.
“If you’re uptight and bossy I’m not for you.
“Getting divorced. 2 little people who are my world.”
Foden completes his profile, which has been verified by Bumble, with three headshots of himself including one of him holding a rugby ball.
He was planning to move to the US with Una and their two children to play for a team in New York after leaving Premiership side Northampton. He is now believed to be relocating on his own.
Ben Foden married Una Healy in 2012 and they have two children together, aged six and three.
Una’s spokeswoman confirmed that her and Ben are getting a divorce adding: “she's in Ireland with her mum and kids, but there will be no further comment to make.”
