"The Man" has done it
Irish wrestler Becky Lynch has beat off her competition to win big at Wrestlemania 35.
Late last night, Becky Lynch took down title-holding rivals Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in WWE's historic event. The event in question was the first ever all-female event in WWE's long history.
Originally from Limerick but raised in Dublin, the wrestler took home both the WWE Raw Women's Championship belt, as well as the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship belt.

Real name Rebecca Quinn, the Irish wrestler has fought off stiff competition in the past year, with fans eager to see her, Rousey, and Flair battle it out for this year's titles. The 32-year-old, who has nicknamed herself "The Man" posted before the bout that "Tonight is the night where The Man finally comes around to collect. Potentially inspiring a whole new generation of female fans, while also giving hope to anyone who may have a big dream, Becky Lynch spoke briefly with WWE after the main event, saying "anything is possible."

According to the BBC, this year's WrestleMania grossed $16.9m (€15m), making it the highest grossing entertainment event ever.
