The UK premiere of James Cameron's highly-anticipated Avatar took place in Leicester Square last night (Thursday, December 10th).
Mike had the pleasure of meeting three of the film's stars beforehand, those being the rather intimidating Stephen Lang, the leggy Zoe Saldana, and the bleedin' maaahoosive Sam Worthington.
As the entire cast is a sight to behold (it also includes the very attractive Sigourney Weaver, Giovanni Ribsi, and Michelle Roderiguez) I've stuck up a gallery showcasing their magnificence. Look at them all there, huddled together in an alluring wriggling mass. It's just a shame they didn't manage to coerce Sam to join them. He was too busy being broody somewhere.
As has become customary, the gallery also includes some shots of premiere guests, clinging on to their tenuous grasp of relevancy. Here's looking at you, Sabrina Washington, Liz McClarnon, Lisa Snowdon, birds from The Saturdays, James Blunt (I think the bottom right hand side of his jacket is trying to communicate something), something possibly related to Ray/Jamie Winstone, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Amy Winehouse's tween goddaughter, GOOD LORD - Sarah Cawood?!, and that Pussycat Doll who appears to have relocated to London so she can attend every premiere. She even brought a little friend with her this time. I bet she doesn't let him take the gloves off.
