It was the final project on Hammer's slate
In the wake of sexual assault allegations and social media rumblings, Armie Hammer has been dropped from another feature film.
Armie Hammer was previously dropped by his agency WME.
He was fired from romantic comedy 'Shotgun Wedding', which also stars Jennifer Lopez; and Paramount Plus series 'The Offer', which looks at the behind the scenes story of the making of 'The Godfather'.
Variety reports that Hammer is no longer attached to star in 'Billion Dollar Spy'.
He was due to star in the Cold War thriller opposite Mads Mikkelsen.
The film company behind the movie, Walden Media, and the movie's director Amma Asante, declined to comment.
'Billion Dollar Spy' was the final movie left on Hammer's slate.
A sequel to 'Call Me By Your Name', starring Hammer as well as Timothee Chalamet, was on the cards.
However, the film remains without a script and hasn't entered active development.
Armie Hammer will next appear on the big screen in 'Murder on the Orient Express', which during Disney's recent schedule reshuffle, got pushed to February 2022.
Earlier this year, there were leaked messages claiming to detail the actor's sex life, which indicated that he is interested in cannibalism and violent sexual fantasies.
Hammer released a statement saying these were "vicious and spurious online attacks" as well as "bulls— claims."
Former girlfriends of Hammer's have also spoken out against the actor.
The woman who initially came forward with abuse allegations accused Hammer of raping her in April 2017. The actor is now under investigation by the LAPD for sexual assault. His legal team have denied the allegations.
