A tweet reacting to the news of Justin Bieber’s engagement making fun of both his and Ariana Grande’s recent engagement provoked a reaction from the ‘One Less Problem’ singer which she then deleted.

However, once you put something out on the internet, it’s never really gone (dun dun duuuuun)…

The news of Bieber’s engagement to model and daughter of Stephen Baldwin, Hailey Baldwin, first emerged last weekend, with reports alleging that the proposal occurred while the couple were holidaying in the Bahamas.

Mind you, neither Baldwin nor Bieber has actually confirmed the news, but that didn’t stop tweeters everywhere from having their say, be it to wish the couple congratulations, or express their fury and sorrow that JB is off the market.

One tweeter decided that in the light of Ariana Grande recently becoming engaged to SNL star Pete Davidson, and Grande and Bieber sharing in common Scooter Braun as their manager, that the celeb engagements have less to do with love and more to do with a management ploy and publicity stunt.

Grande was having none of it. While the tweet has since been deleted, someone managed to screengrab the message and share it on Instagram.

It reads: “You do realize we are human beings who love and have lives… right…? and that scooter is a wonderful human being too who cares first n foremost ab our health and happiness? Love is lit. Shit happens. I hope to god it happens to you too. U deserve it. (sic)”

Grande likely deleted her tweet after fans pointed out the initial comment about Braun was meant as a joke. She also tweeted regarding her manager: “be nice to that man. he’s wonderful. and very human. always puts his artists’ health and happiness first.”

Seth Rogen has previously commented that he too is unconvinced about Grande and Pete Davidson.

Earlier in the month, Grande got a tattoo memorialising Davidson’s dad and revealed how she felt about her fiancé’s joke about the Manchester tragedy.
