The Irish actor is over his 'Hot Priest' era
It was the role that brought him international fame and fortune, but it seems as though Andrew Scott is well and truly over his 'Hot Priest' era.
Scott, of course, played the sort-of love interest of Fleabag aka Phoebe Waller-Bridge in the acclaimed series, but has since had some defining roles of his own - including in 'All of Us Strangers', while new Netflix series 'Ripley' is clocking up fantastic reviews.
However, the Dublin actor made a slight dig at the small cohort of obsessive 'Fleabag' fans who can't seem to let go of Hot Priest.
"Go out and get some fresh air," he told EW, when asked what advice he'd give to those fans. "Stop watching. Stop crying. Stop crying in your room with your curtains closed. Do something better with your life. It’s a great show, we all love it, but come on now, pull yourself together. Open the curtains and go outside."
Ooof!
Scott's words echo those of Miriam Margolyes, who recently had a similar message for Harry Potter fans - although her comments were not well-received by the wizarding community.
