Amy Winehouse was more than five times the legal drink-drive limit when she died, an inquest heard today. She had 416mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. The driving limit is 80mg...

The inquest heard that Amy had not had a drink in July before July 22nd. She was then found dead in her bed in her London home on July 23rd at the age of 27. The hearing was told how her security guard looked in on her at 10am the day she died but left her for five hours before calling the emergency services.

Andrew Morris said that he thought she was asleep when he first checked on her, but at 3pm he checked again and she hadn't moved. A verdict of "death by misadventure" has been recorded at the inquest into her death.
