The Sun reports: "Executives were furious after Alesha praised ITV1 rival The X Factor as 'more creative' - amid claims she was being lined up to replace Cheryl Cole. One insider fumed: 'She is not the most important part of the Strictly judging line-up and the show's success does not depend on her.' Alesha, 32 - who joined Strictly in 2009 as the controversial replacement for Arlene Phillips - told a magazine: 'I think it's great on The X Factor that the judges get to mentor. It's much more creative. We don't do that on Strictly, we just comment. I'm into anything that enables me to use my creativity.' A BBC source said: It is not on for Alesha to woo The X Factor. She is a judge on the biggest entertainment show on the BBC and should be proud of that - not making public pronouncements about its biggest rival'"... That Alesha's manager added: "Contrary to recent speculation, Alesha is committed to Strictly and looks forward to taking her place on the judges' panel when the show returns"... Now that both shows have been promoted to bits thanks to a mutually beneficial funnel of lies, we'll be moving on... That the initial bubble of love Cheryl experienced stateside has been burst, all thanks to a seat change: "On the first day of filming, Paula sat next to Simon - with Cheryl between her and fourth judge LA Reid. But on the second day of auditions, the Girls Aloud star, 27, and pop veteran Paula, 48, swapped places. Many US fans took to Twitter to blast Cheryl for coming between ex-American Idol judges Simon and Paula. One tweeted: 'I resent the heck out of Cheryl 4 screwing up the reunion of the century! Why?'
