According to rumours this morning, it looks like Adele is packing her bags and heading stateside more permanently.
Having spent most of the winter in Paul McCartney's gaff in Hollywood getting ready for the Oscars, the multi-award-winning and now absolutely loaded singer has clearly taken a shine to the sunnier climes of LA, and is said to be eying up houses for a more regular residency. Accoridng to the Daily Mirror 'Adele can see the benefits of bringing up a child in the US. They can be outside, enjoying the weather and loving life out of the spotlight. Los Angeles is a great place for children to grow up and she intends on working a lot more with a new album. She could afford to put a studio in her house. That way she could beaver away on new music without having to worry.'
While in LA, Adele also got cosy with Robbie Williams and his missus Ayda Field who are also new parents and have been whispering in her ear about how great life away from the Big Smoke is. 'Adele and her man Simon are looking at a pad in one of the exclusive gated communities of Beverly Hills because Robbie and Ayda have told Adele that she would be able to have enough land not to feel too trapped and she could have the privacy she so desperately needs to enjoy life. She knows she's extremely comfortable with money and her lifestyle is very chilled and stress free. Her personal life very much comes first right now.'
The claims come just a month after Adele, who also owns homes in London and Brighton, reassured fans she wasn't moving to America at the Brits. saying 'I'm not living here by the way, just in case you think that, I'm coming home!'. We'll see how long that sticks. She's got enough cash to do what she wants now.
