Liz Delaney's pub in Dublin is causing quite a stir with their new promotions night...
While there has been a lot of talk about Wetherspoons and their cheap booze, it has clearly gotten a few publicans thinking of new ways to get punters in through the door and buying their booze, perhaps none more so than Liz Delaney's in Coolock.
The pub has decided to launch a new promotion which they're calling 'Welfare Wednesdays', and offers cheap drinks such as pints and spirits for as little as €3, once you present a valid bus pass or social welfare card.
The poster, which was posted on the Facebook page Irish People Living in New Zealand, doesn't appear on the pub's own page and looks to have had a bit of photoshopping done to it on the top of the image, but it has already been causing plenty of reaction online.
Big shout out to Liz Delaney's bar in the North-side shopping centre in Dublin. Welfare Wednesday. Classy. pic.twitter.com/GUZ32gkOe6

Of course, there's no such thing as bad publicity, even if it does turn out to be fake.
