Late 90s / early 00s nostalgia is really having a moment right now. Everyone's playing Pokemon Go, Robot Wars is back on TV and after this weekend everyone will be reading brand new Harry Potter. The script for The Cursed Child is set to be released in book form this Sunday (July 31st), which is the fictional character's birthday.
The play itself is premiering in London on Saturday night, having already had a preview run for critics. It's completely sold out for the next few months, but the good news for Potter fans is that an extra 250,000 tickets will be made available for performances up until the end of the production's run in December 2017.
They'll be going on sale on August 4th, for anyone wanting to snap them up. It's the perfect excuse for a weekend away in London. The play is in two parts, and tickets for each part have to be booked separately.
Alternatively, you can just enjoy the book.
