The series will follow the 1994 case of Kevin Keith, who was sentenced to death and was later commuted due to new evidence.
Kim Kardashian West is joining the celebrity podcasting space with Spotify.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the reality TV star is set to co-host a series with television producer Lori Rothschild Ansaldi about a 1994 triple-murder case in Ohio and the investigation surrounding it.
Kardashian West has been involved in criminal justice and prison reform for several years, and recently petitioned Donald Trump for clemency in the case of Alice Marie Johnson. In that case, Alice Marie Johnson had served almost 22 years in prison as part of a life sentence for a nonviolent drug offense.
The podcast, however, will focus in on the death sentence and commutation of Kevin Keith, which came when new evidence came to light. Keith, meanwhile, has maintained his innocence and was given leave last year to submit new evidence for a new trial.
News of the podcast comes just a week after Spotify announced that they had signed Joe Rogan and his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, to an exclusivity deal on the platform. Spotify also recently swallowed up The Ringer, Gimlet Media (which made 'Homecoming'), and signed a deal with Barack and Michelle Obama to produce exclusive podcasts.
No launch date has been set for the as-yet untitled podcast.
