Lol is there nothing she can't do?
Fashionista, influencer, and reality TV star Kim Kardashian is now going to throw her hand, err, we mean her voice, at the cultural phenomenon of podcasting. Upon hearing the news we pondered the topics she may be something of an expert in; fashion, beauty, and salads. But no. Ms. Kardashian is venturing into the already chockful world of true crime podcasting.
Kardashian is no stranger to the world of true crime. Her father Robert Kardashian was one of the most well-known attorneys, famous for his defence in the OJ Simpson trial back in 1995.
Law is something she claims that she was always extremely interested in and even registered to study law back in 2018. She then passed the notorious "baby bar' law exam after sitting it back in October 2018.
In her recent chat (and mad cover) with Interview Magazine, she nonchalantly revealed that she's diving into the world of true crime podcasts, hosting her very own Spotify exclusive show.
Describing a day in the life of Kim Kardashian, she casually mentioned that "I’m going to record an episode of my podcast. I’m doing a true crime podcast on Spotify" between appointments like "I dropped my kids off at day camp".
Explaining the concept, she said, "It’s called 'The System'. The first season is about a really crazy case where a guy got the death sentence for a triple homicide that happened in Ohio".
"There are so many twists and turns with how it was handled—or mishandled—and we take the listener along for a journey in search of the truth."
Of the political climate over in the United States, she said, " Just seeing how far our country has progressed, to then see it regress—it’s really scary to think that gay marriage is in jeopardy".
She continued, "If a court can decide what a woman does with her body, then it also puts having children through surrogacy, and things that I have been through, in jeopardy. I always believed people should live their lives exactly how they want to, so it’s really scary to see all of this happening".
We're not sure when the podcast will be released, but we're pretty curious about this and whether it will take a slot in our weekly true crime listening schedule.
