She took the opportunity to speak of her favourite artist Beyoncé, saying “I can’t possibly accept this award, and I’m very humbled, and I’m very grateful and gracious, but the artist of my life is Beyoncé.” Rumour has it that Adele broke the award in two to share the honour with Beyoncé, now that's friendship!
