This long-awaited rock drama has been in the works for the last five years now, and has none other than Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, and Terence Winter on board as executive producers.
Set in 1970s New York, this drama explores the drug and sex fuelled music business as punk and disco were breaking out, all through the eyes of a record executive trying to resurrect his label and find the next new sound.
It stars former Boardwalk cast member Bobby Cannavale as the aforementioned record executive Richie Finestra, while Olivia Wilde plays his former actress/model wife Devon. Ray Romano is Zak Yankovich, the Head of Promotions for the label, and Juno Temple fills the role of Jamie Vine, an ambitious assistant in the A&R department.
Sounds like this could be our new favourite show.
