Gerard Barrett's Pilgrim Hill tells the tale of middle-aged farmer Jimmy. He's not the brightest bulb on the planet, and his people skills could do with some work, but he's a harmless old soul really. Life has changed for him of late because he has taken over the remote family land and its livestock. And as if that wasn't enough, he's caring for his elderly dad too. He's happy enough with the few pints in the pub, but little does he know that another big change is on the cards, and he certainly isn't prepared for it...
