'Gaga: Five Foot Two' promises "an intimate and unfettered portrait of a year in the life of Lady Gaga" and comes to Netflix on September 22nd.

Teasing fans earlier today, Gaga tweeted the title which is a reference to her height (although there's some conflicting information about that if you ask Google) before the announcement saying:

Gaga made the announcement via a series of posts on Instagram which each contain snippets of the documentary featuring her hanging above the Super Bowl stadium, visiting a doctor and looking particularly somber, and even talking about Madonna and how she feels about their semi-beef since Madonna called her "reductive".

Here's the official synopsis:

In the film, Emmy-nominated filmmaker Chris Moukarbel (Banksy Does New York) pulls back the curtain to introduce the woman behind the performer, the costumes, the glitz and the glamour. Off-stage, in the studio, unplugged and at home, audiences get an unguarded glimpse at Gaga through a series of personal highs and lows and the culmination of a year’s emotional journey. From struggles with relationships to health issues, from finding solace in her inner circle to conquering her insecurities, Gaga: Five Foot Two navigates the divide between life as a superstar and life as an everyday woman.

Considering the year she's had, this is definitely one to look forward to.
