"I should have been doing sitcoms all this time."

Our first in-depth look at everything related to Marvel's first TV series on Disney+ is here.

Months after the teaser trailer was released, we've finally been given a lot more information on what exactly is going on in Marvel's 'WandaVision' TV series.

With six episodes on the way at some point in the very near future, the superhero series will launch Marvel Studios' Phase Four - which wasn't the original plan. Before 'WandaVision' hit our screens, we were due to get both 'Black Widow' and 'Eternals' in the cinemas, with 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' arriving on Disney+. As you can imagine, none of that happened.

So, the Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany series is to be the first title to whet our Phase Four appetite. And we are hungry.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly recently, the two stars from the series chatted about what we can look forward to. And with the series following the love lives of a witch and an android, expect the unexpected. Bettany said that because the series was so much fun to film, and different from everything he'd done before, he wished he'd made the foray into sitcoms: "I thought, God, I’ve ruined my whole life. I should have been doing sitcoms all this time."

We'll first meet Scarlet Witch and Vision while they're living a suburban life in the idyllic town of Westview, all in black and white, and post-'Endgame'. The newly married couple fly through the decades, and they soon realise that their "perfect" lives aren't so perfect at all.

The series will be a love letter to US sitcoms of the past that we all now and love, such as 'Bewitched' or 'I Dream of Jeannie', with that extra Marvel-shaped element of terror added to it.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige notes that 'WandaVisin' will have a direct link to the Doctor Strange sequel 'Multiverse of Madness' in 2022. He teased: "If you’ve been tracking the 23 movies we’ve made and following along the stories into Phase Four, there’ll be a wealth of rewards waiting for you as it all unfolds."

A number of new characters will be introduced to us, including Kathryn Hahn ('Transparent', 'Bob's Burgers'), who will star as Agnes, the stereotypical nosy neighbour. Also, Teyonah Parris ('Dear White People', 'Empire'), will play an adult version of Monica Rambeau from 'Captain Marvel'.

Cat Dennings will also be reviving her role as Darcy Lewis from the first two 'Thor' movies.

A number of new photos from set have been revealed too.

There's been no confirmation of when exactly 'WandaVision' will arrive on Disney+, but the end of December or beginning of January is likely.

Here's the trailer from September in case you missed it.
