Landing directly into your nightmares this July
The iconic series is back from the grave to trigger any remaining childhood nightmares currently lying dormant.
Netflix has enlisted the help of some of the original team behind 'Unsolved Mysteries', as well as the crew from 'Stranger Things', to breathe new life into the documentary series.
First arriving in the late '80s, 'Unsolved Mysteries' aimed to solved stories of the paranormal and highly mysterious kind, ones which had still yet to be solved by investigators, who had drawn up every possible conclusion but with no end in sight. The documentary series ran for a total of 14 seasons and 581 episodes and was always an intriguing watch for those who wanted a real-life docu-mystery fix.
The docuseries has been given a new resurgence on Netflix for 2020, and the first six episodes will arrive next month.

Here's the synopsis for the first part of the series:
Fusing signature elements from the original series with contemporary immersive, character-driven storytelling, the 12 new episodes are rooted in the experiences of ordinary people who have lived the unthinkable — from the trauma of a loved one’s unexplained disappearance or horrific death, to the shock of a bizarre paranormal encounter. Alongside detectives and journalists, family members offer clues, present theories, and identify suspects, hoping one viewer holds the key to solving the mystery. From the creators of the original docuseries, Cosgrove/Meurer Productions, and 21 Laps Entertainment, the producers of 'Stranger Things'.
The first six episodes of 'Unsolved Mysteries' land on Netflix July 1.
