"It's a story that's still unfolding."
If you haven't yet watched Netflix's latest bingeworthy docu-series, 'Tiger King', get on it right now because A) you have nothing else to do and B) it's absolutely nuts.
Like, cocaines and tigers nuts. Anyway, since the series debuted on Netflix, the characters involved in the series - namely Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin - have lashed out at the show's portrayal of them. Joe Exotic has lodged a $94 million lawsuit from prison, while Carole Baskin has slammed the series publicly.
Needless to say, the story is far from over and it's looking like there could very well be another season of 'Tiger King' coming down the pipe. Per an interview with EW, series producers Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin revealed that there's a lot that didn't make in.
"As you can see in the series," Chaiklin told EW, "there's a lot of archival material. And unlike other documentaries, our archival materials are almost 100 percent from people's personal archives. Which was a dream as filmmakers, that our subjects were so obsessed with filming themselves."
When pushed by EW if a second season was on the way, Chaiklin replied with a not-too-cryptic answer. "To be continued... I mean, yes we have a crazy amount of footage and it's a story that's still unfolding."
She went on, adding that while they're not sure yet what it'll be or when they'll beginning work on it, "there's a lot that's still unfolding in it, and it'll be just as dramatic and just as colorful as what has unfolded these past few years."
'Tiger King' is available on Netflix now.
