To mark May the 4th, of course
Fans of the 'Star Wars' spin-off 'The Mandalorian' should be excited to hear that a documentary series based on the show is on the way. In fact, it'll arrive in just a few weeks.
Titled 'Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian', the show will be available on streaming service Disney+, where you'll find all the 'Star Wars' movies bar 'The Rise of Skywalker' (though you can find it on demand now - see here).
The brand new behind-the-scenes look delves into how the series was made.
It'll consist of eight episodes and launch, rather aptly, on May the Fourth.
Topics covered include the filmmaking process; the legacy of George Lucas; the creation of the characters; the practical effects; the score; and more.
Fans are particularly hoping to see the exact moment Werner Herzog fell in love with Baby Yoda.
Major directorial names like Taika Waititi, Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Deborah Chow should make an appearance alongside the stars like Pedro Pascal.
There are currently five episodes of 'The Mandalorian' available on Disney+ in Ireland. The final three will be released weekly, and land on the service every Friday at 8am.
Season 2 premieres in October 2020.
