For some reason, it was first released on Netflix Japan's YouTube account.
'The Crown' is set to return to Netflix next month, with the new season jumping forward in time to the early '70s.
Olivia Colman replaces Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth, while Tobias Menzies replaces Matt Smith as Prince Phillip and Helena Bonham-Carter replaces Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret. Beyond that, however, the story widens to take in Prince Charles, played by 'God's Own Country' star Josh O'Connor as Charles, and 'Killing Eve' showrunner Emerald Fennell as Camilla Shand.
The new season takes in the turmoil of the '70s, the beginning of the Miners' Strike against the Heath government, the dissolution of Princess Margaret's marriage to Antony Armstrong-Jones, and of course, Prince Charles' early relationship with Camilla Shand.
Oddly enough, the new trailer debuted on Netflix Japan's YouTube account, hence why there's Japanese subtitles all over it, but expect another trailer to drop in the next few days.
'The Crown' Season 3 arrives on Netflix on November 17th.
