That is some line-up
Prime has released a deliciously depraved new ad for the new anthology series, featuring the fake restaurant chain Vaught-a-Burger.
In it, they announce a very long cast list. And it's exciting, to say the least.
Among the voice cast revealed are Awkwafina, Michael Cera, Don Cheadle, Chace Crawford, Kieran Culkin, Giancarlo Esposito, Eliot Glazer, Jason Isaacs, Kumail Nanjiani, Justin Roiland, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg, Ben Schwartz, Elisabeth Shue, Christian Slater, Kevin Smith, Antony Starr, Nasim Pedrad, Simon Pegg, Kenan Thompson, Aisha Tyler, and Oscar-winner Youn Yuh Jung. Additional names will be revealed at a later date.
The episodes will be short, about 12-14 minutes long. Each episode will also have its own distinct animation style. The stories will all take place within 'The Boys' universe. Episodes are written by Awkwafina, Garth Ennis, Eliot Glazer and Ilana Glazer, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg, Aisha Tyler.
The fake advert presents a new line of toys children can collect after buying the "Little Super Meal", each representing a character featured in the upcoming anthology. There are some familiar faces, such as Black Noir, the Deep, and Homelander. Laser Baby returns after starring in the show’s first teaser.
There are also some new faces, like Picante Balls, a hero with super-genitalia. There's also a woman with a cat head named Cherry, an electricity-based superhero, and some sort of green ball, which we're certainly looking forward to finding more out about.
'The Boys Presents: Diabolical' is out on Prime Video on March 4. Watch the teaser below.
