At some point Netflix decided to put the comedy exploits of Mr. Bean on their streaming service and thank God for that, as with it they have provided the subtitles for the Latin opening opening credits of the British sitcom.
In fairness, we had never really given much thought to what it meant, but now that we know, we'll never hear it the same way again.
Turns out, those beautiful operatic voices are simply saying: "Behold the man, who is a bean."
Watch below:
1. The original Mr Bean TV series is now on @NetflixUK
2. The subtitles on the Latin opening theme have revealed that the actual lyrics are simply:
“Behold the man, who is a bean.”After 28 years my mind has been blown to pieces and I laughed so hard. pic.twitter.com/8WbBePnYUQ
