Ryan Murphy's anthology series has been delayed
For the first time in its nine years of being on our screens, the newest season of 'American Horror Story' won't be arriving later this autumn.
This means that the highly-anticipated tenth season of 'American Horror Story' has been pushed back a few months, until 2021. No new release date has been given as of yet, but it is unlikely that we'll be seeing the next entry this Halloween.
Unfortunately, fans who were looking forward to seeing regular cast members Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters return to the series, who were both absent for last year's 'AHS: 1984', will have to wait just that little bit longer. There was also the inclusion of 'Home Alone' star Macaulay Culkin in the upcoming series, which certainly piqued fans interest too.
Series creator Ryan Murphy previously teased fans that the upcoming tenth season of 'American Horror Story' may be delayed, as the fresh new premise was believed to be somewhat weather-dependent. He released a black and white tease of the upcoming season on his Instagram account back in February, which confirmed all of the returning cast members, including Kathy Bates and Lily Rabe.
Murphy has been an incredibly busy man in film and TV of late, having been involved in many recent and upcoming releases. On Netflix alone, the writer churned out the recent alternative 1940's America with 'Hollywood', while 'The Politician' season two arrives later next month. He has also been busy working on 'Ratched', which will star Sarah Paulson as the heartless Nurse Mildred Ratched from 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'. The first series of the thriller is already in post-production and is expected to arrive later this year.
