Things are about to get stranger...
Major news for 'Stranger Things' fans today as the sci fi drama is officially renewed for a fourth season on Netflix.
The streaming service has signed the series’ creators and showrunners, Matt and Ross Duffer a.k.a. The Duffer Brothers, to a multi-year film and series overall deal.
The third season of 'Stranger Things' arrived on July 4th and was a critical hit.
Little is known about the new season except that it'll be set away from Hawkins, Indiana, following last season's cliffhanger. No release date either.

Earlier today, a tweet from the 'Stranger Things' official account had fans speculating the new season could have something to do with time.

The financial terms of the Duffers’ overall deal with Netflix are undisclosed.
The brothers said:
"We are absolutely thrilled to continue our relationship with Netflix.
"We can’t wait to tell many more stories together — beginning, of course, with a return trip to Hawkins!"
Said Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos in a statement:
"The Duffer Brothers have captivated viewers around the world with ‘Stranger Things’ and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship with them to bring their vivid imaginations to other film and series projects our members will love.
"We can’t wait to see what The Duffer Brothers have in store when they step outside the world of The Upside Down."
