We haven't even gotten to feast on the second season of 'Stranger Things' yet and the bosses behind the show, Matt and Ross Duffer, are already looking forward to the next course.
Speaking to Vulture about season two, Ross Duffer said that what they wanted was to make it feel more cinematic than episodic, recalling that he "told Matt, ‘I don’t want to call it season two, I just want it to feel like a movie sequel.’ If you have a successful movie, No. 2 is always a little bit bigger."
He also confirmed that a third season is already in the works and that the current plan is a four-season show and then onto pastures new.
"We just have to keep adjusting the story," Matt Duffer said. "Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year."
"They’re going to have to get the fuck out of this town!" Ross added. "It’s ridiculous!"
'Stranger Things 2' arrives on Netflix on October 27th.
