We're finally heading back to Moordale!
The new headteacher is about to throw a spanner in the works for Otis and his friends.
Teenage angst is about to hit a whole new, dramatic (and hilariously awkward) level, as we can see in the 'Sex Education' season three trailer below.
Following the summer break, it's time for the students of Moordale to return to school for their final year - but there's a brutal new headteacher to contend with, Hope (played by Jemima Kirke). As we can see, Otis (Asa Butterfield) is having casual sex with a mysterious person, Adam (Connor Swindells) is dealing with the school getting used to him being gay, and Amy (Aimee Lou Wood) has a lovely pet goat to keep her company.
We also catch glimpses of Gillian Anderson, who returns as Doctor Jean Milburn, as well as the introduction of two new characters in Jason Isaacs as Peter Groff, Mr Groff’s more successful and not very modest older brother, and Dua Saleh who joins as Cal, a nonbinary student.
'Sex Education' has become one of the more popular young adult series on Netflix, thanks in part to its tackling of relatable issues in a comical and dramatic way; while the mix of both a young and a seasoned cast ensures the delivery of the topics are done in memorable fashion.
The official synopsis of the series is as follows: It’s a new year, Otis is having casual sex, Eric and Adam are official, and Jean has a baby on the way. Meanwhile, new headteacher Hope tries to return Moordale to a pillar of excellence, Aimee discovers feminism, Jackson gets a crush and a lost voicemail still looms. Prepare for commitment animals, alien phenomena, vulva cupcakes and much more of Madam Groff.
Here's the 'Sex Education' season three trailer - we can't wait for this one.
The eight new episodes of 'Sex Education' season three arrive on Netflix on September 17.
