The Apple TV+ documentary 'Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me' has dropped a teaser showcasing how deep we'll be diving into the life of the singer and actor.
As the title might suggest, the documentary will follow the now 30-year-old star and her mental health journey as she enters a new era of stardom. A former child star from children's shows 'Barney & Friends' and 'Wizards of Waverly Place' (and 'Hannah Montana' if you're keeping track), Gomez then went on to form Selena Gomez & the Scene before going solo.
Now with a new legion of fans thanks to her work in 'Only Murders in the Building', it's very fitting that a documentary about her career and personal life be released. Directed by Alek Keshishian, who also helmed 'Madonna: Truth or Dare', the new release will span the past six years of her life from 2016, which is around the time she released 'We Don't Talk Anymore' with Charlie Puth.
The Selena Gomez documentary follows hot on the heels of Apple TV+'s Emmy-nominated documentary 'Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry', which shed light on the meteoric rise of the young pop star and as she records music videos, gets her driver's license and sings at sold-out music venues.
