Starring Sandra Oh and Ken Jeong
Netflix has released the awe-inspiring trailer for their first joint animated musical with Pearl Studio, the team known for 'How To Train Your Dragon 2' and 'Kung Fu Panda 3'.
And we can safely, it looks fantastically cute. In the 'Over the Moon' trailer, we meet Fei Fei (voiced by Cathy Ang), who is a young girl who dreams of turning her fantasy of going to the moon into a reality. Along with her pet rabbit and brother Chin (Robert G Chiu), the three of them attempt to embark on a special adventure into space to meet the one and only "Moon Goddess".
There's an incredible team starring in the production, with Grammy winner Phillipa Soo ('Hamilton'), Ken Jeong ('Crazy Rich Asians'), Emmy nominee Margaret Cho, three-time SAG winner Kimiko Glenn ('Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'), and two-time Golden Globe winner Sandra Oh ('Killing Eve') joining the cast.
'Over the Moon' will serve as Glen Keane’s first feature film directorial debut, he who has worked on a chunk of Disney's back catalogue including 'Pocahantas','Beauty and the Beast', and 'Tangled', while the film is scored by Oscar winner Steven Price (for 'Gravity').
Here's the synopsis for the movie, which is described as "an exhilarating musical adventure about moving forward, embracing the unexpected, and the power of imagination":
