Whodunnit... again?!

The 100% certified fresh crime/comedy caper will be back once again as the podcast-loving trio (presumedly) try to solve yet another murder.

Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez and their mystery-solving antics will once again be needed as 'Only Murders In The Building' has been renewed for season three.

We're not even halfway through the current season's run, but it seems like Hulu/Disney+ are confident they can squeeze yet another successful series out of the whodunnit concept.

The news follows a successful first and second season for the series, both of which are 100% certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. The first season was the most-watched Star Original on premiere day on Disney+ ever.

The series tweeted a brief reveal of the news on Twitter yesterday.

Following on from the murder of Tim Kono in the trio's apartment building, The Arconia, during season one, the second season picked up after the devastating murder of another building resident, Bunny Folger. Unfortunately for the main stars, the actual killer begins framing them, turning them into the main suspects in the case. With a third season on the way, it looks like we might be left on yet another cliffhanger come the season finale.

Ahead of season two beginning on Disney+, we caught up briefly with Cara Delevigne (who plays Mabel's mysterious new love interest, Alice) and asked her about the appeal of murder/mysteries and why she thinks they're making a big comeback.

Four episodes of season two are currently available on Disney+. New episodes drop weekly every Tuesday, with 10 episodes in total. Expect an 'Only Murders In The Building' season three release date to be revealed in the future.
