Add these to your watch list

With over a week still left in January, there's still a lot of pretty engrossing titles arriving on our screens this weekend.

Here's a rundown of the best picks from each on demand service for you to watch over the next few days.

NETFLIX

'Fate: The Winx Saga'

The only reason we're putting this series here is because it was shot in around county Wicklow (Kilruddy House in Bray to be exact). Unfortunately, this is another cheap young adult Netflix entry, full of clichés and awkward teenage angst. It is only six episodes however, so if magic and romance are your type of thing, you'll breeze through this over the weekend.

'The White Tiger'

Inspired by the book of the same name by Indian author Aravind Adiga, 'The White Tiger' is a darkly funny drama which deals with the ever-growing social class difference within India. Starring Priyanka Chopra-Jones and Adarsh Gourav, the movie makes for a fascinating snapshot of what life is like below the breadline. Read our review of the movie here.

'Call My Agent' season four

Witty and full of physical comedy moments, 'Call My Agent' is a French-language series about the inner workings inside one of Paris' top talent agencies. Trying to keep their business afloat during difficult times, as well as keeping their talent happy, is certainly not easy. But it makes for a rather enjoyable comedy series.

DISNEY+

'WandaVision' episode three

So we're three episodes in of nine - but is anything beginning to make sense yet? We're not going to spoil anything for you, but we have A LOT of questions. Once you've caught up with episode three, read our reaction to it right here.

'Pixar Popcorn'

This weekend, why not have a mini Pixar marathon? Grab the popcorn and take a seat as 10 brand new Pixar shorts are coming to Disney+. All-new adventures from some of our favourite characters from the worlds of 'Toy Story', 'Cars', 'Coco', 'The Incredibles', and even their latest offering 'Soul' are here to make us feel good.

AMAZON PRIME

'The Rental'

One for horror and thriller fans this weekend is Dave Franco's directorial debut. 'The Rental' sees two couples get together for a lovely weekend getaway - but as you can imagine, things take a more sinister turn. Starring Alison Brie and Dan Stevens, the unnerving movie will never make you want to escape to the great outdoors ever again.

'Star Trek: Lower Decks'

An animation for all of the Trekkies out there is this new one focussing on the lesser-known Starfleet crew. The least important ship in the 'Star Trek' universe, U.S.S. Cerritos, sees Mariner, Boimler, Rutherford and Tendi get to grips with all sorts of sci-fi anomalies while at work. The series features the voices of Tawny Newson, Jerry O'Connell and Jack Quaid.

SKY AND NOW TV

'The King of Staten Island'

With a great ensemble cast, this is one movie that might have passed you by last year. In 'The King of Staten Island', Pete Davidson from 'Saturday Night Live' takes us on a semi-autobiographical journey as a 20-something-year-old who has been clinging onto the past. With Bill Burr, Steve Buscemi and Marisa Tomei also in the mix, it's a funny and touching entry from director Judd Apatow.

APPLE TV+

'Losing Alice'

A new psychological thriller series that will interest a lot of people is this new effort on Apple TV+. Promising to be a very complex, neo-noir narrative, 'Losing Alice' will take us through the conscious and subconscious of a female film director's ever-evolving, ever-changing mind.
