Hope you managed to watch it all over the weekend
Merciful hour. *Insert Sister Michael eyeroll here*
Just like taking candy from a baby, Netflix's gift of more stellar Irish comedy on the streaming platform has all-but ceased to exist - for now. Unfortunately, the streamer has had to remove 'Derry Girls' season two from its library this morning.
The bizarre move comes after the award-winning comedy series was only just added to Netflix last Thursday, July 9. Season one is still there of course, but if you didn't manage to watch all of season two in six days then you might be a little more than peeved off.
Netflix tweeted the news, saying: "UPDATE: it looks like we were a bit early with this one so have had to take season two down for now. We'll let you know when it's coming back as soon as we can. In the meantime, it's available now on All 4."

The Channel 4 comedy, pennned by Lisa McGee, fell into the number one spot on Ireland's top 10 most-watched titles over the weekend - so chances are that you were already caught up on the comedy before now. And if you didn't - hopefully Netflix can rectify the unforeseen issue sooner rather than later. There's been no word on why it has been taken down, but it seems likely it has something to do with Channel 4's broadcasting rights.
Season three is still on the cards as well, with Galway star Nicola Coughlan, who plays worrier Clare Devlin, tweeting that it's on the way "as soon as Covid permits".
We’ll be making Series 3 as soon as Covid permits but just thank you for your continued, incredible support
