This is totally not "sliving"
All of the glitter in the world couldn't cover up this Netflix creation.
'Cooking With Paris' has been cancelled by Netflix after just one season, proving that a reality TV star and them attempting to cook does not necessarily make for a winning combination.
In case you missed the series when it launched in 2021, each episode follows socialite and DJ Paris Hilton around as she prepares food with a celebrity dinner guest. We say "prepares food" very lightly as she normally ended up ignoring her own handwritten cooking instructions, and added glitter to everything in sight.
Her celebrity guests included the likes of Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Nikki Glaser and her sister and mother, Nicky and Kathy Hilton, who attempted to help Paris create her dishes which ranged from vegan burgers to french toast dipped in frosted flakes - Kardashian, in particular, proving to be a dab hand in the kitchen. The more hilarious (read: astonishing) moments came in the form of Paris sprinting around a supermarket in high heels buying her ingredients and asking the staff what chives are.
Unfortunately for those who watched the unconventional madness unfold, Netflix has decided that 'Cooking With Paris' had to be cancelled after just six episodes. Although the series, which premiered in August, briefly entered Netflix’s daily Top 10 rankings, it failed to make a lasting enough impression with audiences to warrant a return to the glittery, diamond-encrusted kitchen.
It just goes to prove that when it comes to TV series and the reality star, cooking and Paris Hilton do not mix. Netflix just needs a camera crew to follow her around, more in line with 'The Simple Life' with Nicole Richie, and they'll have a hit show on their hands. At the end of 2021, Hilton married her fiancé Carter Reum, who is an entrepreneur.
