"Holy Butts!!!! It’s like a porny pride and prejudice."
Everyone loves a filthy period drama over the Christmas, right?
From producer Shonda Rhimes comes Netflix's latest binge-fest with 'Bridgerton' arriving on the streaming platform on December 25.
Absolutely dripping with love affairs, steamy sex scenes, and costume drama, the eight-hour series makes for perfect Christmas viewing really (as long as the parents are tucked up nicely in bed).
The series has been the talk of Twitter to say the least, with star Regé-Jean Page, in particular, being the centre of attention. Page, who has starred in 'Mortal Engines' and 'For The People' in the past, plays one of the lead roles as Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings.
The series is based on historical romance novelist Julia Quinn's books. Shonda Rhimes, who has worked on 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'Scandal', ensures the intoxicating series has us lead down various twists and turns throughout.
We recently reviewed Netflix's latest, awarding it an impressive four out of five stars, and saying it was "binge-worthy, energetic and fun".
Here's some of the reaction the series has been getting from TV bingers online. Watch out for some thirst tweets, and love for the music bops throughout the series.

I’m excited to see Black characters costumed in Georgian dress — Black fictional characters in period pieces are usually confined to stereotypical roles. Hoping to see some much needed expansion on that in #Bridgerton pic.twitter.com/ijPS1AvCU3
