Time travel and the TVA?

It's nearly time for us to feast our eyes on the next Disney+/MCU series.

But until June 9 rolls around, we're going to have to do with as many little snippets of the 'Loki' series to tide us over. This new feature seems to be moments after Tom Hiddleston's Loki first encounters Owen Wilson's character Agent Morbius.

From the conversation that both characters have in this elevator scene, it leads us to believe that Loki managed to escape with his life only moments beforehand. Now under the control of the mysterious Agent, Loki is about to be led to somewhere where he'll have to talk - something he's obviously not keen to do.

The TVA, where the pair are now, is coloured all brown, beige, and bland - muted colours which will be a nice juxtaposition for when the series begins to let loose in the later episodes (which we've seen pops of in previous trailers).

Again, we hear Agent Morbius say "Time passes differently in the TVA", which leads Loki to realise that it is their job to protect the timeline from going out of whack. With the God of Mischief potentially rear-ending the timeline last time we saw him (having exited 'Avengers: Endgame' via the Space Stone/Tesseract), or maybe for another reason entirely, he'll have to face the wrath of this time-keeping organisation.

The exclusive clip from Marvel Studios’ 'Loki' was shown during the 2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards, which was hosted by Leslie Jones.

MCU and Disney+ series 'WandaVision' and 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' picked up a number of awards last night, including 'WandaVision' winning Best Show, and Wanda and Agatha winning Best Fight.

Here's the newest 'Loki' clip.

'Loki' begins On Wednesday, June 9 on Disney+.
