This better not be a trick by the god of mischief
It seems that we might be getting at least one more season of 'Loki' after his initial solo series launch this summer.
Take this with a pinch of salt, but we could be getting multiple seasons of 'Loki' in the future. That's according to Marvel Studios VP of Production and Development,Β Nate Moore, who recently spoke to IndieWire.
Speaking about Marvel Studios entering 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' into the Emmys race under the Drama Series category (and 'WandaVision' under Limited Series), he briefly discussed the upcoming solo debut for Tom Hiddleston's Loki.
He told the publication: "The one that comes to mind β and that probably isn't a secret β I think there's a lot of storytelling in Loki that's really irreverent and clever and cool, but also lends itself to multiple seasons in a way where it's not a one-off."
'Loki' is set to be the third MCU series hitting Disney+. Unlike 'WandaVision', which can only really be warranted a solo series due to the unravelling of its central character, Wanda, Moore's quote indicates that the ending of 'Loki' could be left open-ended.
And let's be honest, we're quite excited at the prospect of multiple seasons of 'Loki'. Far and wide, the character's series is the most eagerly-anticipated one landing on Disney+ this year.
Tom Hiddleston will back as the titular god, and for his debut solo effort he'll be joined by Owen Wilson, Wunmi Mosaku, Erika Coleman and Richard E. Grant (who hasn't yet appeared in any promotional material, might we add).
We'll just have to wait and see what unfolds on 'Loki' season one, when it premieres on Disney+ on June 11.
