The latest Marvel show has reached its conclusion (for now...)
***SPOILERS FOLLOW*** After airing for six weeks, the final episode of 'Loki' debuted on Disney+ yesterday (Wednesday 14th July).
Those who can't get enough of the God of Mischief also got good news yesterday. During a mid-credits scene of the finale, it was revealed that 'Loki' would return for season 2.
The episode saw our titular protagonist (Tom Hiddleston) and fellow Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) meet He Who Remains (Jonathon Majors).
He explains why the timeline and the TVA exists, and offers to let the Lokis rule in his stead.
Sylvie's desire for revenge, however, overcomes all. She kills He Who Remains, inspiring multiple timelines to burst forth, and thus the multiverse is born - or indeed, remade.
The 'Loki' finale inspired some great reactions as fans reflected on the series as a whole, and considered what could be in store for the characters next.
Some were traumatised by the episode.
Others were left heartbroken by the 'Loki' finale.
Many contemplated how Doctor Strange is going to fit into all this, following the events of both 'Loki' and 'Wandavision', in the movie sequel 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'.
Other expressed their thoughts on Sylvie's actions.
