'Too Much' will star Megan Stalter and Will Sharpe
It's fair to say that Lena Dunham has form when it comes to rom-com series, so there's no pressure on her next project.
The 'Girls' star and writer has co-created a new rom-com series with her husband Luis Felber for Netflix.
It's called 'Too Much', and stars Megan Stalter ('Hacks') as a thirtysomething New Yorker who decides to move to London after a string of failed relationships. There, she meets Felix, played by Will Sharpe (who played Ethan in Season 2 of 'The White Lotus') and they embark on a relationship defined by their cultural differences, amongst other things.
It's been described as "an ex-pat rom-com for the disillusioned who wonder if true love is still possible, but sincerely hope that it is."
Dunham has written and will direct 'Too Much', while her husband Felber - whom she married in 2021 - will provide the original music.
There will be 10 thirty-minute episodes in the series, and filming is expected to start in London soon.
