Eminem responded when Netflix announced the series' end

'The Punisher' star Jon Bernthal has a lot of love for Eminem defending his Netflix series.

In case you missed the latest Netflix stab in our superhero hearts, 'The Punisher' and 'Jessica Jones' have both been freshly cancelled from the streaming service. 'Jessica Jones' season three will be the final Marvel series on the site when it launches later this year.

In all of the hullaballoo, rapper Eminem voiced his opinion of the cancellation on his Twitter account. He said, in all caps emphasise his dedication:

"DEAR NETFLIX,

REGARDING YOUR CANCELLATION OF THE PUNISHER, YOU ARE BLOWING IT!!

SINCERELY,
MARSHALL"

The Grammy-Award winning rapper has a particular soft spot for the comic book series. In 2009,  Eminem appeared in a publication of 'The Punisher' comic, entitled 'Eminem/Punisher: Kill You.' Maybe Eminem was hoping to make an appearance in the series, should it ever have gotten a third season? Now that, we'd love to see.

Anyway, Eminem's love hasn't gone unnoticed by the series' star, and Bernthal has responded, calling the rapper "the King:"

"Dear Em. Honored you watch brother. ?. You are the King."

In light of all of the Netflix cancellations, we still have 'Jessica Jones' season three to look forward to. The final season is due to air on Netflix later this year. If you're yearning for your next superhero fix however, why not check out 'The Umbrella Chronicles' which we said was "seriously good fun to watch."
