We're all trying to find the guy who did this

Cult favourite skit comedy show 'I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson' has been renewed for season 3 by Netflix.

The show, created by Robinson and Zach Kanin, first aired in 2019. Each episode features multiple skits of seemingly mundane scenarios becoming more bizarre by the minute.

The series is executive-produced by Robinson and The Lonely Island members Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone. Guest stars over the first two seasons of the show include Samberg, Will Forte, Tim Heidecker, Bob Odenkirk, Sam Richardson, Cecily Strong, Fred Willard, and Steven Yeun.

A statement from Netflix reads, "Creators and writers Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin bring their distinct comedy style and observational humour to the forefront, continuing to poke fun at life's most bizarre and mundane situations"

Sam Richardson, who you may know from starring in 'The Afterparty', spoke to Variety about the upcoming season. He said, "I'm not sure when they'll start filming. But there are funny sketches coming already, I can tell you that much."

Tim Robinson first captured the eye when he became a writer and performer on Saturday Night Live in 2012. He then made appearances on other comedy shows like 'Comedy Bang Bang' and 'Documentary Now!'. Since 'I Think You Should Leave' hit Netflix, the show has gained a huge cult following.

Some famous skits have reached meme level, including the famous 'Hot Dog Car' sketch. The skit features Robinson crashing through a building in a hot dog shaped car, while dressed as a hot dog. The character then tries to blend in with the innocent bystanders, exclaiming the infamous line "We're all trying to find the guy who did this!"

The meme has become increasingly relevant in political discourse on Twitter, usually at the expense of politicians trying to shift blame from their own actions.

Seasons 1 and 2 of 'I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson' are available on Netflix.
