If you were of the opinion that no one but Claire Foy could play Queen Elizabeth II on Netflix's 'The Crown', we think this may change your mind.
Netflix this morning released the first image of Olivia Colman in the role for the show's third and fourth seasons, alongside a simple instruction/statement.
"Patience."
Why? Well we're not going to see the third season until at least 2019 and if previous schedules are anything to go by, it'll be late 2019 at that.
What that means for us is that we've got a lot of waiting to do until we see Colman, alongside Tobias Menzies as the queen’s husband Prince Philip, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, Ben Daniels as Antony Armstrong-Jones, Margaret’s husband, as well as the rest of the newly cast older royal family.
So yes, patience is definitely required.
