Netflix's 'The Punisher' will return later in 2019
Frank Castle's return to Netflix in 'The Punisher' is "coming soon."
And if you thought Castle's days as a vigilante were over, then think again; as Netflix have released a new teaser for the return of the second season of 'The Punisher' later this year.
Unfortunately, no release date has been given yet - but you can expect it soon.
In the teaser below, we see Castle lighting a piece of paper on fire. The paper is the pardon that he received at the end of season one, so it looks like Castle will indeed return to his vigilante ways, as if you thought otherwise.
The teaser has been captioned 'Back to work."

Given that the first season of 'The Punisher' was pretty well-received, we're looking forward to seeing Jon Bernthal make his small screen return.
However, season two of 'The Punisher' will likely be Frank Castle's final soirée on Netflix. The streaming giant has recently cancelled a slew of Marvel's superhero crime-fighters; 'Luke Cage,' 'Iron Fist,' and 'Daredevil' will not be returning for their next seasons.
Season three of 'Jessica Jones' will also be making its way onto our screens in 2019 too. Although given that no teasers have been released for that yet, the series will likely follow at some point after 'The Punisher.'
And by then, we'll all be glued to Disney's streaming service, Disney+.
