'GLOW' became the first series in Emmys history last night to win Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Comedy Series or Variety Program with a female stunt coordinator at the helm.
The dramedy, which follows a women's wrestling show in the '80s, picked up a number of gongs last night at the Emmys last night, but the big news was Shauna Duggins breaking the glass ceiling on the category.
'GLOW' was up against some pretty strong competition, most notably being 'Cobra-Kai', 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' and 'SNL, but the series and Duggins won through and made history in the process. Duggins was previously nominated back in 2006 for the Jennifer Garner-starring 'Alias', but last night saw her take home the award.
The third season is expected to return in 2019.
