This is gloriously cheesy - and we can't wait
Dolly Parton is renowned for spreading gorgeous music and a fresh sense of humour throughout the world. Now she's bringing good cheer too through her very own Christmas movie.
'Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square' is headed to Netflix next month.
As with anything involving Dolly and Christmas, it's a musical extravaganza!
Recalling such seasonal classics as 'A Christmas Carol', 'The Grinch' and 'It's a Wonderful Life', the story follows a wealthy, mean-spirited woman who returns to her hometown after the death of her father.
She plans to evict everyone and sell the land to a mall developer — just before Christmas.
But an angel (played by Dolly Parton herself) comes to visit the woman to offer her guidance.
Moreover, meeting the locals inspire her to have a change of heart.
Christine Baranski, known for her roles in 'Mamma Mia!', 'Chicago' and 'The Good Fight', headlines the movie.

The cast also includes Jenifer Lewis ('Black-ish') , Treat Williams, Josh Segarra ('Arrow'), Jeanine Mason ('Roswell', 'New Mexico'), Mary Lane Haskell ('Hearstrings'), Matthew Johnson ('American Idol') and Selah Kimbro ('Hidden Figures').
Dolly Parton previously collaborated with Netflix on the series 'Heartstrings'.
'Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square' arrives on Netflix on 22 November.
