Well, ya better believe it

Daredevil returned to our screens all suited up and raring for *action* in 'She-Hulk' on Disney+ this month.

Charlie Cox has made his return as Daredevil - he's offically back in the suit! Well, his new and improved Marvel Cinematic Universe yellow and red suit anyway.

That's right, after a minor cameo appearance in 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' last year as Peter Parker's attorney, the blind street-level superhero made an explosive return to screens during the final two episodes of the Tatiana Maslany-led comedy series. We've waited so long to see this, we couldn't control ourselves with anticipation (and we got more than we bargained for *wink wink*).

Cox previously played Matt Murdock in Netflix's live-action version of the superhero for three seasons before being cancelled and presumedly to never be seen again. Despite fan petitions (and stars of the series speaking out against the decision), everyone thought that this incredibly well-liked version of the character was dead and buried somewhere in Hell's Kitchen. Marvel, however, were listening.

Following on from his two-episode appearance in 'She-Hulk' as the titular star's newfound love interest (which took place after he kicked some baddie butt), Cox spoke with Entertainment Weekly about returning to the character four years later. The British star admits that he's "still coming to terms with it".

He continued: "It still feels too good to be true. I really had put this to bed emotionally; I didn't think that this was going to happen. I literally don't have the words to describe it. I feel incredibly grateful.

"I'm so excited about starting again and reading scripts and putting the costume back on and getting on set and being in New York. I can't wait to start back in and tell more of this amazing character's story."

But Marvel isn't stopping there. Charlie Cox will return in 'Daredevil: Born Again', which will be a mega 18-episode season set for release on Disney+ in early 2024. Vincent D'Onofrio will also be back once again as the supervillain Kingpin, but so far he is the only cast member from the original Netflix series on board the project. Could Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page or Elden Henson's Foggy also join the project?

While Cox didn't give anything away in this regard, he did touch on how big of a project this series will be: "It's such a huge task. It's such a huge undertaking, but I think if we get it right, to have that many episodes to tell a number of stories is really a really fun challenge and potentially incredibly gratifying."

Charlie Cox will next appear as Daredevil in Disney+'s 'Echo', which is set to follow Alaqua Cox's character Maya Lopez, who was introduced as Kingpin's adopted daughter during the 'Hawkeye' series. This is set for release in mid-2023.
