Bruce Springsteen's celebrated Broadway show is being added to Netflix in the coming months.
The critically-acclaimed show - which is literally just the Boss with an acoustic guitar, telling stories and singing some of his hits - has been running at the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York for since October of 2017 and has been extended three times and even picked up a Tony award in the process. The intimate show been hailed as a masterpiece, particularly as Springsteen is synonymous with arena concerts for many years.
Tickets for the show, if you happen to find yourself in New York, go for an average cost of $510 and has so far made close to $76 million with some 150,000 people catching the show live. However, the show's run will end for good on December 15th - the same day a special filmed performance of the show is added to Netflix.
The performance was taped across two nights this week, with Springsteen accompanied only by his wife Patti Scialfa for a couple of songs throughout the show. Springsteen has previously used the Broadway show to express his views on America's political climate, going off-script for one show to speak out against Donald Trump's child-separation policy at the US-Mexico border.
